The Heritage Homeschool Co-op was created to offer homeschooling children of the Berea, KY area a fun and enriching educational experience where families can grow, learn, and support one another. Although, we fall into the category of a "social co-op", we aim to provide educational opportunities to enhance or supplement your homeschooling journey. Our group operates under these three goals:
FAITH
First and foremost, we are a Christian co-op. We will give God the glory in all we do, and we desire that our attitudes and behaviors reflect that same message. We gladly welcome anyone who wishes to come and be a part of this educational experience, but we ask that all members (regardless of faith) respect the Biblical teaching of Pilot Knob Missionary Baptist Church and HHC.
EDUCATION
Secondly, we believe that quality enrichment classes and field trips are important for children of all ages. Because of this, we have expanded the co-op to include course offerings for Pre-K through 12th grade. Lessons are designed to supplement the education your child is receiving at home as well as provide an outlet for the child to learn team work with peers. Not only do we offer a rich variety of classes, but we also have monthly field trips, community outreach projects, parties and any other fun stuff we can think of!
INEXPENSIVE
Lastly, part of the mission of Heritage Homeschool Co-op is to provide families with an affordable social and educational experience. We maintain low membership fees by relying on families to volunteer as teachers, assistants, or in other service capacities.
"Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward." Psalms 127:3
